Relay for Life

Hey guys,
We have been asked by Aunt Paulette to participate in the Relay for Life which supports cancer research on June 1st here in Winnipeg. We are all really excited by the opportunity that it will bring to be able to fellowship and share in the healing process that this bout of breast cancer has had for her. It will begin with a walk by all of the survivors of cancer around a track lit by luminaries that people have purchased and lit in either memory or honor of someone that they know who had cancer. I know that this will be a really special but also hard thing to watch and go through. We have all known someone who is going through cancer stuff or has already passed away from it and so this will be a pretty emotional time for everyone there. Ter's family will mostly be there as we are participating as the Desaulniers family. It is exciting to be able to witness with them and participate in this activity. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for our family. God is so good and he provides for more than our needs than we ever thought possible. Thank you for continuing to pray for the families and people who are going through radiation, or chemo right now or have recently lost someone to cancer. It is not an easy disease and hopefully someday their will be a cure, but even if there is never a cure, it is so good that we have a God who loves us and sees us when we hurt so just pray for healing.
