New York Fun

We really enjoyed seeing everyone in New York. The boating was a lot of fun and just being able to hang out and see the family was even better. The girls tried their hands at fishing. Danielle caught the most, even Ter caught some. We tried to eat them for dinner but they weren't that great. I loved the berry picking. I ate so many blueberries during picking that I wasn't feeling so well later on but it was really worth it to have fresh fruit. Kayla still wants to try making blueberry jam. We will see if that will ever work. She just wants to mash the fresh blueberries and make it into jelly.

Visit with Kolesars

We had a great visit with the Kolesars. It was nice to get to visit everyone and see how the kids had grown. I don't think that we saw Danielle or Kenna for the whole two days. They visited and talked late into the night. It was great.

Visit with Dougherty family

What fun we had with our close friends and old neighbors. It was great to see the kids get along so well again and be able to reconnect with everyone.

Visit with the Hirst Family

We loved our visit with the Hirst family near the beach. I am still amazed at how much everyone has grown. The boys are now 17 and 21. It doesn't seem possible that when we met they were the same age as our girls now- 12 and 7. Time sure flies. Virginia Beach was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed ourselves. Kayla loved cuddling with her Sue Sue and Danielle had a great time just relaxing and hanging out again.

Visit in Charlottesville

We had a wonderful time visiting with Terry's boss in Ruckersville. The girls loved her pool and also the new yorkie puppy Sammy. It was nice to get to visit and just hang out while Terry worked.

Adults only Vegas Wedding

We just came back from a 5 day trip to Las Vegas with friends from Winnipeg who got married. Ter and I had a lot of fun. I don't think we will ever go back but it was certainly an experience.
